Element is a global business that provides specialist testing, inspection and certification services to a diverse range of businesses. Their shared service centre for the Americas processed around 9,000 invoices each month in 2019 by over 500 different vendors. By digitising and automating the process, they were able to give employees back time, reduce errors, save costs and uncover vital new insights to drive new innovation and value. Now they process 12,000 invoices a month and save around £330,000 a year.
“Even within a month of working, we are seeing massive benefits and talking about rolling out into other countries. It just provides a visibility and transparency we never had before,” says Richard Vonk, Global IT Systems Architect.
